“We usually opt for ‘Buy Now’ auctions where the validity period of the bids is less relevant,” Chris explains. “About the time frame in which we receive the results of the auctions, we are super satisfied: barely 15 minutes after the end, the results roll in. “Because of the large supply on OPENLANE, buyers have a lot of choice,” says Chris. “That depresses prices, so we sometimes have to adjust our desired asking price. Fortunately, OPENLANE matches supply and demand excellently, and we benefit from the fact that Dutch cars are in demand.”
